Wonderful Wales

A few months ago I travelled across Scotland, trying to find Nessie in Lochness. Anyhow, I am lucky enough to have another opportunity to explore Wales, another country in UK.

I only did two stops. Cardiff, the capital city of Wales, and Swansea, a smaller city.

Anyhow, the main reason I went to Cardiff is because I could not attend the 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who in London 😥 and because of that I compensated by going to Doctor Who Experience in Cardiff Bay. This Doctor Who Experience is where they store most of the props used in the show, and I even got to go inside the real time Tardis, the one that Matt Smith has used. So it is pretty much full of awesomeness.

So. First day. I arrived at Cardiff pretty late, and checked in in the best hostel I have ever visited. The hostel was facing Millenium Stadium of Cardiff. We can see the building through River Taff. After I have checked in, I visited Cardiff Castle. It was said that without the castle, Cardiff would not be a city. Sometimes I could not believe my own eyes when I realise that the landscape stand before me was already there 2000 years ago.

Second day. I went to two different castles, Castle Coch and Caerphilly Castle. Both located outside Cardiff City, but not too far away so I can still reached them. After that, I went to Cardiff Bay and did the Doctor Who Experience. I was pretty scared when the Angels come, but nevertheless The Eleventh Doctor succeeded, as always 😉

Anyway, the BBC Wales Studio was pretty breath taking. It was beautiful, and I did go to the real Tardis. It was such a blessing.

The third day. Swansea and Gower Coast Line. God’s grace. I will upload some image here and I hope you guys enjoy it. It was such a blessing to just be there and be able to take these photos.

Hope you enjoy it.

Sweet Escape

For the love of me, I have no idea why I really do like riding on a train. I really love trying to get on a train, whether it is for a short journey, or a long one. But basically, on every trip, this is how I rank ‘what I love the most’ about the journey:

1. The train
2. The companion

So last weekend I found myself deserted in 3 hours ride train to Bristol, trying to catch a glimpse of big baloon in Bristol International Baloon Fiesta. Unfortunately for me, I miscalculate the little things, and I spent a quarter of that day on a train. But I loved it. I don’t know why. The train is just so calming.

Anyway, I did not catch any baloon, except the baloon where the little kids hop on and off (a big baloon shaped like a house). But I did get a good shot. Here they are.

Well, I hope someday I do catch a glimpse of a big baloon, maybe shape like Stuart from Despicable Me, or a big baloon shaped like Tardis.

That’s my sweet escape. Just riding on the train, to a city I know nothing of, and just let my mind wander from everyday’s problem.

Hello March!

So it’s March already!

That means I’ve been here for 5 months and counting! It felt like yesterday, I arrived at Manchester Airport, waiting for a familiar face to come get me. And here I am, 5 months since then, and still alive, and well too. Lol.

Anyway, February was my Fisheye Month. This is some of the photos I really really really really really like.

So.. I’m still thinking what I’ll do on March. Honestly I got no idea at all.

Anyway, that’s all for today. I hope you all have a blessed February!

Manado Plus Bunaken

Just before my final presentation, I took some time off to have some fun with my friends. They are:

1. Citra, the craziest person alive I think. She is so hardcore!

2. Evy, the most yes girl in the trip.

3. Raisa, the most ‘salah kostum’ or ‘wrong costume (in English)’ girl in this trip. When everybody else wears pants she always wear dress that supposedly use for walking-on-the-beach-with-your-boyfriend thing. And Manado is hardcore, don’t expect the holiday to be easy. So, therefore, wrong costume. I’ll tell you why in a bit.

4. Soraya, the most talkative if it is about food. She was like “where do I find this food” “where do I find that food”.

The trip is 5 days and 4 nights, but because of my presentation date, I went home earlier than my friends. So for me, this trip was 4 days and 3 nights long. Anyway, this is MY itinerary (mostly mine because I don’t know what they’re doing for the last day in Manado).

Friends And Love

Recently, an old friend from high school came back to Indonesia and luckily, I got a chance to meet him a few times. For ol’ times sake LOL

reunion

It’s kinda funny when you think about it, as the quote say in the pict:

The gift of true friendship
is that it takes us by
the hand and remind us
we are not alone
in the Journey of Life

Yes, we need to have fun all we can, for life is only once and I believe, love is one thing that exist for eternity

Thanks for the wonderful time
Thanks for the laughter
Thanks for the memories

For friendship is all about memories
The good one, and the bad one

Have a wonderful life, y’all *lol*
