My Scotland Trip

This weekend I went on a trip to Scotland. Well, it is a special trip because it is full of coincidences and I believe my friend and I are very lucky to have achieved such things.

So there are a bit of little first(s) I had when I was on my trip.

1. First time ever trying brandy, liquor, and whiskey. Okay that sounds like it is, but I just tasted them and I did not have the intention to get drunk.

2. First time ever seeing a puffin! (Just google it, puffin is a very cute bird with colourful beak). We almost could not make it. So the puffin is on this small island, called Isle of May. The boat was full booked and we have to wait to see if some of the people will drop their booking. Luckily they did!

3. First time getting a lift from a totally totally totally totally (okay, too much) stranger. My friend and I were trying to get to Tantallon Castle, which literally is in the middle of nowhere. Unfortunately, because it was Sunday, the public transportation is so limited we could not catch a bus. So randomly, we ask a stranger on the side of tennis court where the castle is. Bless him, because he gave us a lift to the Tantallon Castle! I could not even believe it but it was such a blessing I am so amazed! Not to mention the castle was stunningly gorgeous.

4. First time trying so hard to catch a glimpse of the Loch Ness monster, known as Nessie. I know I am a dreamer and this is no exception. I like to believe that such mysterious creature really exists, just so that we could still hope, and search for the answer.

It was such a beautiful and memorable journey. Scotland is such a beautiful place. The Loch Ness is majestic in its own way. All the small towns are really lovely. And the people? Bless their hearts!

After I got back from Scotland, my friends who are too lazy to move their arse(s) [pardon my pun] told me to come to their place. The story continues…Read More »

One Lost Day

Today I did some recuperating long due. Supposedly, I have to take care of some administration thing but then I cannot bear the headache anymore, so I decided to sleep after my ‘big sister’ told me to. So, basically, I lost a full day.

Anywho, because yesterday and today I did some thing, there’s always something new.

Thursday ‘first(s)’:

1. First time went to international society building, and met some people. Then said ‘come la’ and the singaporean guys laughed at me.
2. First time going inside MBS building and realizing how this school is ‘ancient’, as in there’s so many history inside that building, I believe the Business School here is really really good.
3. First time going inside RNCM. Man!! This is one awesome building, or as Barney would have said: “Legenn….. wait for it… DARY!!”
I like it! I wish I were a student there. When you go in, you could feel how that building is full of creative aura floating around, the mixture and combination of classical and modernity. Just a hint of everything in the right composition.

Friday ‘first(s)’:

1. First time cutting some mushroom (full cup mushroom? cupcake mushroom?). Forgot the name, but it was one button cute mushroom.
2. First time losing one day recuperating -.- I hope I will feel better tomorrow.

Valentine’s day is coming!! What to do what to do what to do? 😀

Anyway, it’s time for me to continue my recuperating. Need some sleep 😀

Gnite, y’all.

Blessing(s) With So Many S Letter!!

Well, let start with my first today.

1. First time skype-ing with one friend, the red bright aura girl.
2. First time buying grapes from MnS groceries store..!! I like the groceries there, very colourful 😀

The BLESSING(S).

1. When I woke up this morning, one of my best friend said:

“You know, you are talented. You could write a motivation book or something.”

For me, this is one of the highest compliment I ever received. Well, one of the best was “I know you could be this small” from Joe, but nevertheless, this one is one high praise too. And she’s my very best friend whom I respect so much.

Well, I just hope maybe her hope will come true for me.

2. I went to the chaiplancy a little earlier than expected, and then I talked a bit with Father Tim. And he said something like this: (well, roughly quoted)

“It’s good that you are taking this so seriously. With brilliant question too.”

And for me, that too is a high compliment. I really am glad to talk to Father Tim, and I really like to see his eyes brightened everytime I ask something.

3. So in this very moment, my friend is talking and discussing about our euro trip to three different country. Netherlands. Spain. Portugal. Three exotic european country, isn’t it? So I feel blessed that they want to arrange all that thing.

4. My fisheye lens? Amaaahhh—zinnnngg!!! I really really am glad to have buy them! The result was really good!

That really are some blessings, isn’t it?

Quote of the day:

True happiness and joy come from serving other.

Thinking Basin

That’s what happen when you spend the day by yourself, literally alone. The human contact you got was the cashier, or the person in a clothe shop asking you whether you need help or not.

You think. A lot. Lottsssssss, looottsss lootttsss.

Anyway, my ‘first’ today.

1. First time being supervised by a Scottish guy who happens to be a very kind guy!! He taught me well, and step by step too, not rushing to the topic as I might have guessed before.
2. First time seeing snowstorm. Okay, this one is not true. It’s just this raining snow, heavy snow, combined with some wind.
3. First time feeling lost in a specific store -.-

Anywho, I’m a big fan of Lady Antebellum, and today they release their new single, “Downtown”.

Lady Antebellum – Downtown

And I like listening to them, Charles Kelley is one sexy man!

What else, oh. So the thinking basin. Here goes.

First Time

Some of you may or may not realize, but almost everyday, we encounter a new thing, new experience, new point of view, new anything.

Today, I got some of my new firsts.

1. First time I got hit by hails. I already saw hail last year, but this is the first time I got hit by hails, lots of them, and it hurt, too.
2. First time I use a knife to chop some meat. Well, this is basically because I have to make a pork chop because my friend, Ray, is too busy with his green jelly ice.
3. First time I deep fried something. This is the continuation of the pork chop thingy. So after I chop the meat, I have to put it into egg and flour, and then fry the meat.

So there we go. I have three new ‘first’ things I’ve done today.

Anyway, funny fun fact about laundry. You always, always, and ALWAYS loose your socks, no matter how hard you try not to. Well, in the end, luckily for me, I found them somewhere (in my shirt, or pants, or duvet cover), or for today’s case, I found them in the tumble drier.

What else.

Oh, this is interesting. So today I did a skype session with my friend. She is in Indonesia right now, and looking for a job and whatelse. Anyway, she has this problem. She loves somebody, who loves her back, but then the situation and everything else is not condusive enough. That got me thinking.

What a miracle it is, to find someone you love with all your heart, who loves you back, and then want to spend the rest of his/her life with you.

The illusion of a hopeless romantic.
